1) Make sure they use QUALITY industrial coatings. Paint has come a long way within the last few years and regular latex paint and primer has had its day. We use an ultra premium two component system that delivers factory-like results that is guaranteed to last decades.
2) How long will it take them? A good quality paint job on your cabinets will take a prime coat and at least two finish coats with sanding in between. If they say this can be done within three days, know how and why. This is a project where you deserve to get what you pay for.
3) Ask them about the reinstallation process. Why? If they fail to mention they will label the hardware (hinges/handles) and not reinstall them EXACTLY where they were before, the installation runs the risk of failure. The result - crooked doors and loose handles.
